Charmayne Jenkins is a native of Inglewood, CA. She earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Los Angeles Harbor College in Wilmington, CA. During her time at LAHC, she held the position of President of the Black Student Union, and was an active member and Senator of the Associated Student Organization. She went on to further her education by earning a Bachelor of Business and Management degree from Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. She is looking forward to returning to school to earn a Masters Degree.
Professionally, from 2000 to 2009, Charmayne held various positions in the Real Estate Industry, which included working in Commercial Real Estate. Upon receiving her BA, she began working in the Healthcare Industry for a large nonprofit organization. She currently works in the Human Resources Department as the HRIS Analyst.
Charmayne’s faith is her strongest asset along with her spirit of excellence. She aspires to continually give back to others in need. She realizes that hard work and determination are necessary, but the guidance of strong women is what has helped her to achieve her dreams. It has always been a passion of hers to give back to young women with a focus on the empowerment of women through mentoring, which has come to fruition through Alloveme.
Charmayne is the proud mother of one daughter. “It is a blessing to be able to give my daughter an example of what an empowered woman can accomplish through all obstacles.”
